Zielezinski took a critical look at technology being used in schools today and whether these tools are used effectively to enhance learning. About the speakers

Molly B. Zielezinski is a doctoral candidate at the Stanford Graduate School of Education with a dual specialization in Learning Sciences & Technology Design and Curriculum & Teacher Education. As a former teacher, she is deeply committed to identifying and interrogating innovative practices that support students’ development of critical thinking, collaboration, and content knowledge.

Dr. Michael J. Harvey is a New Zealand Science Teacher and MIEE based at the British School of Nanjing in Nanjing, China. A former research chemist and New Zealand Government advisor that aims to improve scientific understanding, specifically in creating ways to make the abstract ideas within science more accessible to learners. He researches pedagogy associated with the integration of technology and problem based learning in junior science.

Moderator: Anna Gomez works for Sensavis and is based in Singapore. She has worked extensively throughout Asia with both corporate and education sectors training and development initiatives, in operational and consultative roles. Her passion as an educator is student engagement. A graduate of George Mason University in Virginia, Anna received her M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction.
